About High Roller chips. High Roller poker chips are made from a composite resin and weigh 11.5g. They are slightly softer than the Striped Dice chips but not as nice as the Pro Clay Casino or Lucky Bee chips. They do have the advantage of being denominated, however, and the graphic is part of the chip so can never peel off. These are the cheapest denominated chips we could find that were of acceptable quality. For cheap denominated chips, compare these to the Jackpot Coin-inlaid chips. |

About Jackpot Coin-inlaid chips. Jackpot Coin-inlaid poker chips became popular a few years ago when many of the local Las Vegas casinos started using a similar chip. They are kind of retro, and most people either love or hate the design. They come in 8 denominations from 25 cents to $5,000 so can be used in a wide-variety of cash and tournament games. They weigh 12.2g and are very durable. They even avoid the clinky sound of typical ABS chips because the outer plastic is softer and does not cover the metal insert. For cheap denominated chips, compare these to the High Roller chips. |

Shipping Info: 8lbs/4kg. Every once in a while, we get some great deals on over-stocked products. Whenever we have extra room in our containers, we have our distributor throw in a couple of these gems. Daniel Negreanu was the player of the year a couple years back and put his name on several products. This chip set was the companion to his "Stacked" video game. OK, it's not the best poker set out there, but the poker chips are pretty good quality and you can't beat the price. At 11.5g, the graphics and colors are bright. The sturdy aluminum case is very nice and probably worth more than the poker chips. The only issue I have with these chips is that the white and black chips are difficult to tell apart because the center graphic is the same on all the chips. As you can see in the photo, the black chips are black with white edgespots and the white chips are black with white edgespots. I suggest playing the white and black chips as the same denom. The set is therefore 3 colors. At US$0.06 per chip, you can order 5 of these sets to make a nice 1,000 chip tournament chip set for a very reasonable price. About Nexgen Las Vegas chips. Nexgen Las Vegas Chips were once the next generation of chips, but are now a generation older than the Lucky Bee chips. They are still great chips at a decent price. They come in pre-set packages of 100 chips including 25 White, 50 Red, 15 Green, and 10 Black chips. That is almost the right ratio for a 4-color chip set so you can buy as many sets as you need. Figure about 75-100 chips per player over the course of a session. "Las Vegas" is inscribed in the mold. They weigh about 12g. Some of the chips (maybe 5-10 per set) have hairline cracks across the center of the chip but the integrity of the chip is not compromised.

Black Flatwood. S$250. This top-only has USA black suited speed cloth and a dealer tray cutout that is off center by about 10cm (oops). It comes with a dealer tray, but no rail and is 107cm x 228cm.
